I have always been in love with animation since I was little. This page is to showcase some of the projects I worked on during my study at Emily Carr University animation department.

Student film: Yan-Yan Sub Chui (2009) trailer

Flipping through Grandpa’s handwritten diary, Yan-Yan takes a nostalgic trip to her past, experiencing the joy her grandfather had while looking after her.

Yan-Yan Sub Chui is a personal film that uses animation to re-enact a few precious moments of my toddler years through Grandpa’s diary.

*The short film was selected for screening on World Film Festival 2009 (student film category) in Montréal and on Vancouver Asian Film Festival 2009
